GOLFCENTS SWING SPEED ANALYZER
Swing speed calculations are quite often estimated by using one of the three distance factors:
(1) Driving distance average [based on the carry only ] (roll after impact is not counted )
(2) Five Iron distance average [based on the carry only ] (roll after impact is not counted )
(3) Typical club used from 150 yards ( eliminate any less or extra club used due to wind direction )
GolfCents'swing speed formula takes into consideration all three of the distance factors and averages
these values. The reason for this is the variation of golfers and their effectiveness of hitting both
Woods and Irons at peak proficiency. I, as well as many others, believe this three point measurement
will give the golfer a better overall estimate of their true swing speed range. But to be fair I have
given you the option to use all three distance factors or use any one of the three. It's your choice.
